As a BDC Advisory Services Client Partner, Joshua works with Canada’s high potential growth companies to build and execute their strategic plans. His clientele ranges across industries including technology, manufacturing, construction, consumer products, logistics, food & beverage, agriculture, skilled trades, professional services, resources, and more, involving a multitude of business models.
Joshua joins BDC following a career journey in the trenches leading, developing, and operating small and medium companies, and in strategy and technology consulting for Fortune 1000 companies. He has worked closely with global teams across North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and South America. A dedicated educator, Joshua teaches with SFU Beedie School of Business in the areas of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Business Management. He previously served in teaching, mentoring, and advisory roles through Futurpreneur, entrepreneurship@UBC, Techstars, Launch Academy, JDC West, Junior Achievement, Key Club International, and more. In the community, Joshua currently serves as President for the Kiwanis Club of Vancouver, supports a variety of innovation / entrepreneur ecosystem initiatives, and serves on committees for foundations and charities that focus on granting scholarships, awards, and bursaries for deserving learners.
